Non-GMO Labelling and Organic Certification
Transparent non-GMO labelling has now become a serious matter with many consumers calling for it. Many retailers are taking note of this consumer trend and asking their suppliers to provide transparent labelling.
The Canadian Food Inspection Agency has deployed a Canada Organic Regime to ensure products certified as organic meet the definition as set out by the federal Organic Products regulations. This certification demonstrates the use of natural products, sustainable practices and humane animal welfare policies in the making of food, drink and agricultural products.
